Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-09
This Cookie Policy explains how MugenLink Network uses cookies and similar storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) on our website and dashboard. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB) serve comparable purposes and are covered by this policy.
2. Categories
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They handle authentication, session continuity, security tokens, and load balancing.
- sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token — Supabase session (httpOnly).
- page_permissions — RBAC permissions cache (httpOnly).
- mugenlink-cookie-consent — your stored consent choice (localStorage).
- theme — your light/dark theme preference.
2.2 Analytics (consent required)
These help us understand aggregate usage patterns so we can prioritize features and fix slow pages. They are anonymized and do not identify you personally.
- First-party page-view counts and referrer.
- Anonymous session duration.
- Error and performance telemetry.
2.3 Marketing (consent required)
We currently do not run advertising or remarketing campaigns and therefore set no marketing cookies. If this changes we will update this policy and re-prompt for consent.
3. Third parties
- Supabase — authentication session cookies (strictly necessary).
- Cloudflare — security and bot-mitigation cookies (strictly necessary).
4. Managing your preferences
When you first visit the public site you are shown a consent banner with three options: accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the mugenlink-cookie-consent entry in your browser storage, which will re-display the banner.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break authentication and log you out.
5. Do Not Track
We honor the GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal where supported and treat it as an opt-out from non-essential cookies.
6. Updates
We will update this policy when we add or remove cookies. Material changes will trigger a re-prompt for consent.
